Google’s “mobile friendly” algorithm update, to be released on April 21.

What is a Mobile-Friendly Website?

A website is called mobile-friendly website when it displays correctly on different devices such as smartphones, iPhones, iPads, and tablets.
The advantage of it is that, it will take less time to load and also easy to read.

How to check the website is mobile-friendly?

Google has provided a tool to check the website is mobile-friendly or not that is Mobile-Friendly Test
Step 1: Go to Mobile-Friendly Test page
Step 2: Enter a web page URL
Step 3: Click on ANALYZE button
Step 4: If your web page is mobile-friendly then it shows the message as:Awesome! This page is mobile-friendly.
Step 5: If your web page is not mobile-friendly then it simply shows the message as:
Not mobile-friendly
Also if you have added your site in Google Webmaster Tools then you can see it in Mobile Usability section.
Step 1: Go to Google.com/webmasters/tools of you website
Step 2: Click on the website URL of which you want to check
Step 3: Now, you are in the dashboard of your website in webmaster tool. Click on the “Search Traffic” from the left sidebar
Step 4: In the “Search Traffic” menu you will get the sub-menu, named as “Mobile Usability”
Step 5: Here, if your site has no mobile usability errors then it shows the message as: No mobile usability errors detected. Be sure to check all site variants.
When you check your website on mobile devices then you can see your site will be labeled with “Mobile-friendly” label before the description in the Google search result if your site is mobile-friendly otherwise it will not be labeled with mobile-friendly.
